I didn’t want to be the first one in the neighborhood to get solar, but my tech Gary made the process so easy. My neighbors are now going solar because of me, Gary and his team handled all the HOA issues. It seemed scary at first but the entire process is actually a no-brainer.

I did NOT want to go solar. I thought the entire thing looked hideous..but after speaking with Jordan it makes complete sense. Why not just pay for the panels, the electricity will be free down the line. It’s either that or be tied down to my electric company for life. They had a ton of options for me in terms of financing, but it was all affordable options. I was afraid because the process seems so confusing, but Jordan my tech was able to explain and hold my hand the entire time.

I’ve had several people try to sell me solar panels and Sammy was the most straight to the point. I liked his honesty, everyone else was selling me a tall tale. He broke down the numbers and it made complete sense. I wish I had done this sooner, I’ll probably be calling them to add to our Delray house.

My tech was a professional through and through. He was there during the signing of the paperwork, he took care of the permitting, the HOA, FPL, connection, and even helped me with my taxes LOL. I would recommend the Consumer Energy Association 100 percent. I’ve heard some horror stories regarding solar panel installation, but the CEA took care of all the hard stuff.

In 2023, the typical price for a home solar system is approximately $20,650. Nevertheless, the actual cost of installing solar can vary significantly, influenced by a multitude of factors. These include your geographical location, the system’s size, the provider chosen, and any applicable incentives.

To put it plainly, solar panels capture sunlight and transform it into a form of electricity that we can use. However, during nighttime or in poor light conditions, these panels cannot generate power due to the absence of sunlight. In these instances, if there’s a battery bank attached to the system, stored energy can be used to run your appliances or devices.

On the other hand, if your solar panel system is linked to the electricity grid, surplus power produced during daytime can be contributed back to the grid. Through a process known as net metering, this surplus energy is credited to your account. During the night, your system can pull electricity from the grid to operate appliances and devices in your home.

The federal solar investment tax credit (ITC) enables you to cut down your overall solar installation expenses by as much as 30%. This tax credit is directly applied to your federal income tax obligation, representing an equivalent reduction in the taxes you would have otherwise had to pay. For instance, if the cost of your new system is $18,000, the solar ITC could potentially allow for a tax credit up to $5,400 on your federal income tax.
