Best Bluetooth Speakers
9.2 / 10
The UE Wonderboom 2 weighs less than a pound and fits in the palm of your hand. With an incredible 13 hours of battery life and a 100-foot wireless range, It can keep the music going all night and into the morning. What stands out about this bluetooth speaker is the incredible bass and tone for such a small speaker. A really nice feature is that the UE Wonderboom 2 is waterproof. Not water-resistant, but waterproof, making it an excellent choice for the beach or boat.
Amazingly, this speaker comes in at a purchase price of around $80. For the money, and the quality you are getting, it’s hard to match this speaker. The folks at Ultimate Ears have a great line of speakers in general, and every model they have out could have wound up on this list.

If you want REALLY BIG sound, durability, and proven name in sound, the JBL Charge 4 is an excellent choice for you. It comes in at a little over 2 pounds and has a wireless range of only 30 feet. Like the Wonderboom the Charge 4 is also waterproof. The Charge 4 is not only our favorite Bluetooth speaker at RealReviews.org, but it’s also a crowd favorite with the consumers on Amazon.
What the Charge 4 does well is to provide outstanding sound quality. It is loud, well-balanced, and full of bass. The two drivers and two passive radiators allow for a genuinely remarkable tone. Also, the Charge 4 has a battery that just won’t quit. Boasting over 20 hours of battery life, and even the ability to charge your phone when it’s dead. Lastly, the Charge 4 also comes with an AUX input so that you can play audio out of it from almost every format imaginable.
It’s not perfect, of course. It’s more expensive than some of the other speakers coming in at around $170, so you are paying for that extra sound. Also, it’s larger and heavier than some of the othee bluetooth speakers we tested, but its certainly still portable.
If $80 is too much for you to invest in a bluetooth speaker, then the XSound Go could be an option for you. With prices somewhere around 30 dollars, this little speaker is surprisingly great for such a small price.
Now, if you have the extra 40 bucks or so to spend, I would still tell you to go with the UE Wonderboom, but this little guy from the people at Tribit is truly impressive with its remarkably low price point. The speaker’s sound is just way better than anyone would expect for such an affordable product. Tribit cut some cost corners with design, but who cares how the speaker looks? It’s about the sound, and the sound is simply way better than it should be. It comes in at under a pound like it’s counterpart above, has an amazing battery life, and is water-resistant!
The Tribit, Like the Wonderboom, has no AUX input and no speakerphone as well (no surprise for the affordable price) If you want an affordable, reliable speaker with excellent sound quality, this is it. It won’t tear the roof of the house, and it definitely won’t be the speaker to bring the party to its feet, but use it next to the pool or lounging at the beach, and this speaker does everything you would expect and more.

Quite simply, the Sonos Move is the best Bluetooth speaker that money can buy. And the money it will cost you. Coming in at around a whopping $400, the Sonos is hand-down the most expensive on this list. That being said, the people at Sonos deliver with what can only be described as the future of Bluetooth sound.
The speaker is big! Sonos Move weighs over six and a half pounds. And it only boasts around 10-hours of battery life. So it’s big, expensive, and doesn’t last half as long as the JBL? Why should you get it? Quite simply, it’s the best sounding speaker that you have probably ever heard. With one down-firing tweeter, one mid-woofer, and two Class-D digital amplifiers, it sounds like you are at the concert itself. The connectivity is tremendous as well, with Wi-Fi up to 5GHz and Bluetooth 4.2. It is also water-resistant at an IP56 rating.
Sure it might be a lot to take to the beach or on a hike, but if you are heading from your kitchen to the pool, this could be your solution for your indoor/outdoor sound. Sonos also works incredibly hard on making all their products work seamlessly together. They are constantly updating their apps and software to ensure the best possible quality usage of their products for whatever your need is.
Depending on your price range, your needs, and what you are looking for, you can surely find a Bluetooth speaker that works for you in this bunch. The biggest factor to look at is what you want to use your speaker for? If you just want to have something a deck for possible usage, or if you are an audiophile who is tired of living behind their headphones and wants to share music with friends and family. The Bluetooth Speaker market continues to impress with a wide range of products for any situation.
