Airport convenience is the product

The official airport page lists Budget among the on-airport providers. That removes an off-airport transfer and can matter after a flight with luggage or children. Confirm the current counter location, hours, flight-delay handling, and after-hours return before treating convenience as guaranteed.

If the trip begins with several walkable Old Town days, price a later pickup or no car. Airport convenience has little value when the vehicle spends the stay in paid parking.

Build the complete price

Request base rate, facility and concession fees, tax, additional driver, young-driver fee, child seat, toll plan, fuel option, coverage products, deposit or authorization, one-way fee, and late-return terms. Confirm mileage and geographic limits for any Lower Keys or mainland route.

Review personal insurance and card benefits before making a coverage decision. Policies vary by driver, card, vehicle, and trip. Obtain answers from the issuer, insurer, and Budget rather than relying on a generic travel article.

Pickup and vehicle fit

Provide flight, driver age, license country, payment method, passenger count, luggage, child seats, mobility equipment, and desired class. A reservation for “or similar” does not promise a particular model. Verify that the class can hold people and bags.

Photograph condition, wheels, glass, interior, fuel, and mileage before departure. Test air conditioning, lights, mirrors, seat adjustment, and child-seat fit. Retain return and fuel evidence until the final receipt is settled.
