This policy explains how RealReviews handles account details, submitted content, quote-comparison requests, site operation data, and information shared for a service request.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, review submissions, correction requests, moderation reports, session cookies, basic technical logs, source and campaign attribution, and information entered into a quote or service-request form.

A business-financing quote request may include average monthly gross revenue, requested amount, time in business, industry, legal business name, business address, intended use of funds, contact name, email, and phone. The initial RealReviews form is not designed to collect an SSN, date of birth, EIN, bank credentials, account or routing numbers, statements, card information, government identification, or other underwriting documents. Do not place those items in free text.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site, manage accounts, moderate and publish eligible content, process correction requests, prevent abuse, improve RealReviews, respond to inquiries, record consent, evaluate service or financing matches, notify staff, and measure campaigns or quote-flow activity.

Business-financing and other quote requests

When a form says that selected partners may receive a request, RealReviews may use and share the submitted business, project, and contact information with selected providers or financing partners to evaluate a possible match and allow follow-up about that request. The consent displayed beside the submit control governs that submission. Recording a request does not mean it was delivered to a partner and does not guarantee contact, availability, an offer, approval, pricing, booking, or funding.

Providers and financing partners have their own privacy practices. Review the recipient's privacy notice before providing sensitive documents or completing underwriting. RealReviews is not responsible for a partner's independent eligibility, underwriting, pricing, servicing, or data-handling decisions.

Public content

Published reviews, display names, profile handles, business responses, and approved updates may be visible publicly. Quote requests, contact information, financial-intake fields, correction attachments, and moderation reports are not intended for public display. Do not submit private personal information in review text.

Service providers, legal needs, and security

RealReviews may use infrastructure, hosting, database, security, analytics, notification, and communications providers to operate the service. We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the site, investigate abuse, comply with applicable legal process, enforce terms, or protect rights and safety.

Cookies and measurement

RealReviews uses secure session cookies for login and account access. When configured, Google tag, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Pixel may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure campaigns, page activity, quote-flow events, and conversions. Browser or device controls may limit some cookie activity.

Retention and requests

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, service operations, fraud and abuse prevention, dispute handling, consent records, contractual obligations, and legal compliance. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or a privacy concern, email support@realreviews.org. A request may require identity or authority verification, and some records may need to be retained where permitted or required.

Contact and corrections

For business-profile corrections, source or rating issues, privacy reports, or disputes, use the correction and dispute intake form or the correction link on the relevant profile.
